Rita Ora is planning to open her own school in Kosovo after 23 years of fleeing her native land

Rita Ora will soon be faced with mentoring a number of acts on the X Factor .

But the singer has got bigger plans up her sleeve than just teaching her category everything she knows about the music industry.

Instead the 24-year-old is reportedly planning on opening her own school in Pristina, Kosovo - 23 years after she was forced to flee her native land.

Rita and her family escaped the territory during her childhood before war broke out and now wants to give back by building a school for disadvantaged kids.

A source told The Sun: "Rita never forgets her roots and building a school is a perfect plan.

"She’s been considering the idea for some time but is now pushing forward with it. The school will be named in her honour and she’s hoping it will inspire the students there to keep hope."
