The Children’s Department of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has almost completed her multi-million naira children amusement park called: “Emmanuel Park.”
The park is a place where children and teenagers will get an opportunity to have fun in a godly environment and under maximum security.
The park, which is located at Redemption Camp besides the children’s auditorium, was conceived by the wife of the church’s General Overseer and head of the Directorate of Teens and Children Education (DTCE), Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye.
At the November Holy Ghost Service, Mrs Adeboye explained that the park will be open for the young people who want a place to relax and where they can interact with one other in a godly manner. She added that it is to enable children within and outside the camp to have a balanced life: spiritually and physically.
Mrs Adeboye also disclosed that the park will be open for school and families. She assured parents that there would be no need for them to take their children outside the country to have a good time anymore, saying that the park will be equipped with fun, modern facilities that the younger ones will love.
Mrs Adeboye further stated that the ministry is the first to embark on such a project. She therefore enjoined members to support the laudable project, revealing that about N500 million has been expended on the project, noting that about N150 million is still needed to install CCTV cameras, game machines, toilet facilities, Amphi Theater and other features at the park.
